Vroom Québec is a road-vehicle dealer that operates online. This policy describes what we collect when you reach us through this site or by phone, why, to whom we disclose it, and what you may require of us.

Scope
This policy applies to this site (the Vroom Québec home page) and to what directly follows from it: a call that you make to us or that we make to you, and orientation to one of our three services (selling, sourcing a vehicle, or financing).
Each service operates under its own policy published on its own site. This policy does not cover requests you make directly on those sites.
What we collect here
You fill in no form on this site. No personal information leaves your device merely because you view these pages.
Your IP address is seen by our server when your browser requests a page. It may appear, for a short time, in our host’s technical logs. It is not written to any file.
If you call us at 450 912-4241, an advisor notes what you tell them in order to call you back or to point you to the right service.
Call recording
Our calls are recorded. The advisor reminds you at the start of the call, and you may refuse recording without losing access to the service.
Purposes, in order: to establish proof of the consent you give by voice, and to check service quality. No other purpose is added. A recording collected for these purposes is never reused for advertising.
Retention periods: full audio, 12 months. Proof of consent, 3 years. Call metadata (without content), 3 years.
What we do not collect
No document upload, no social insurance number, no credit inquiry on this site.
This site has no upload field, no payment and no mailing-list subscription.
To whom we disclose it
We do not transmit your information to any third party without a separate authorization from you, given during a call, and specific to the transmission requested.
If you ask us to open a file with one of Vroom Québec’s services (selling, sourcing or financing), the policy of the service concerned then applies and is presented to you before any transmission.
Your rights
You may, at any time: request access to the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted subject to any legal obligation, or withdraw an authorization you have given. Write to info@vroomquebec.ca or call 450 912-4241.
Withdrawing an authorization is as easy to do as giving it.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date shown at the top marks when changes take effect.
