Frequently asked questions
The service fee for your chosen package: $299, $599 or $1,199. It is separate from the commission and never credited against it. It covers the search, selection and coordination stated in your mandate.
On purchase only. No vehicle bought means no commission. The rate depends on the pre-tax purchase price (3 to 5 % per the schedule). The commission is not billed twice if a 10 % pre-purchase deposit already absorbs it.
Without pre-approval: 10 % before purchase per validated conditions; commission deducted once, balance applied to the vehicle.
You do. In advance, either directly to the garage or via Vroom. This applies to all three packages, including Signature. Inspection is never advertised as included or free.
Yes. You choose the mechanic. We coordinate the appointment on all three packages. The transport option (starting at $119 — subject to distance and trip, on quote) lets Vroom drive the vehicle to your chosen garage.
We support the file on request, subject to approval. A pre-approval replaces the pre-purchase deposit; how the commission is collected in that case is agreed with you, never automatic.
No. The transport option is starting at $119 — subject to distance and trip, quoted before any commitment. It is added to the service fee. This is not the post-purchase delivery of the vehicle, which is included everywhere in Québec.
We say so plainly and agree on the terms with you — timing, cancellation, refund — per our written conditions. No made-up blanket exclusion.
